This is what I love about working with seniors…you are able to highlight their individual creativity. Issac had such fun and creative ideas for his senior session! Starting with the location…he often bikes within Loch Raven Reservoir so he wanted to do the shoot there and he brought his bike. I loved using panning techniques to capture him on his bike. Remember Jack from last year’s family session with the Amato’s? You can view that session here. He has grown just a little, right?! This is the blessing in capturing regular sessions while your kids are young…they change so much from year to year. We met for an early morning session and a surprise. This shoot was so much fun! It was a welcome challenge after a busy fall of family and senior sessions. I met Rena for lunch a month ago where she shared that she was finally making her dream of owning a small clothing boutique a reality! In a little over a month she would open the doors to Apricot Lane Cockeysville.
She wanted to capture some photos to begin sharing the journey on social media leading up to opening day. Rena gathered the models and hand-picked clothing for each of them (which speaks to her styling expertise) and we spent the morning shooting. I got to know Jesse and Molly while serving in the middle school ministry at Hunt Valley Church. We were so excited when they told us they were pregnant and expecting baby Sadie. We met on an absolutely beautiful fall evening at the Hampton Mansion National Historic Site and had fun exploring the grounds together. Enjoy these images from our golden hour session.
