Baby Griffin | Lutherville, Maryland

It is such a gift to be invited into a families home to capture those first days with their sweet newborn.  We met Will and Janis through Young Life and could not be more thankful for their leadership here in Baltimore.  Baby Griff was born just a couple of days into the New Year so this was my first session of 2017.  What a way to begin the New Year.  As a mom of boys I couldn't help but think of the adventures these two will share in the coming years.  Welcome Baby Griff...

Sweet Harper Rose Christmas 2016

“What was wonderful about childhood is that anything in it was a wonder. It was not merely a world full of miracles; it was a miraculous world.”
G.K. Chesterton

We were able to spend some time sweet Harper over Thanksgiving.  We had a blast running after her as she explored.  I was struck once again by why I love photographing kids...their unending sense of wonder!

My boys helped me at different times during our adventure.  In fact Joshua got the most authentic smiles and praise from Harper by pretending he was running into the door of the train station.  Well she is a part of our family and we're kind of known for our ability to make people laugh!

Dixon Family Session | Lutherville, Maryland

2017-01-16_0015.jpg

I met this family years ago through some of our close friends.  It has been a joy to get to know them better over the years and watch their family grow.  Vicki is someone that truly values deep friendships.  She will call every once in a while to get together for lunch and or dinner so that we can catch up, talk raising boys, loving our husbands and most importantly what we are learning in our spiritual lives.

Click Away 2016 | Seattle, Washington

What an experience. I learned, grew, and came home with a heart passionate to find my voice and continue to pursue what I love.

These first pictures are from my boutique session with Elena S Blair and a sweet family from Seattle.  We walked the streets of downtown Seattle and snapped pictures along the way.  Elena shared some of her advice for capturing families.  We had many people stop us asking if the family was famous because there were over 20 photographers following them taking pictures:)

Courtney Slazinik the owner of Click It Up a Notch was our model for one of the breakouts within the Public Market (pictures above) and Millers Lab hosted an awesome evening at the top of the Seattle Space Needle.
